Sun Guard Awnings are adjustable and our
most popular shade awning.

  • Reduces your utility bill by dramatically lowering heat gain through your windows.

  • Arms adjust to virtually any angle for
    maximum protection from sun & rain.

  • Awnings can fold down completely for protection from weather. Brackets to hold the awning in the closed position are included.

  • Although these awnings will provide some window protection, they are NOT rated for hurricane protection. As such they will not
    meet requirements in those areas of Florida where window protection is required by code. These awnings should not be confused with the much more expensive - but similar looking - hurricane rated awnings which we do not sell.

  • Locked in the down position, these awnings do meet 130 M.P.H. wind requirements for not being forcibly ripped away during storms if installed correctly.

still allowing you to see out between the slats.

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS AWNING STYLE  HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED BY THE MANUFACTURER AS OF AUGUST 2009 AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

  • Can be installed to wrap around bay type windows.

  • Not designed for rain or storm protection.

  • Slats snap on and off easily and should be removed in case of high winds.

  • Arms hold the awning in a fixed position which is not adjustable.

  • Shipped "knocked down" rather than fully assembled to make transport easy. Often they will fit in a car, but check with us for complete details based on the size you need.
