Patio Covers

Let our experts help you design a patio cover to fit your budget and needs. Designs can run from basic and inexpensive to an elaborate architectural masterpiece. Patio Covers provide a nice shade cover and can easily be converted into a screen room or even an enclosed room for year round comfort.

Patio Cover with decorative columns covering structural posts. This cover
features the insulated structural roof panel and drip edge fascia.

The Patio Cover is a very easy to build project with usually just a roof, posts, and a beam. Installation can often be done in just a few hours. The package can be customized in a virtually unlimited number of ways to provide you with a finished Patio Cover just right for your needs. Typical features generally include:

  • A cover sized to your requirements and designed to meet
current Florida wind loading requirements. (To see more about
Florida wind load engineering, click here.)

  • A mono-slope roof which attaches to your house and slopes
away from the house. Gabled roofs are also available. Freestanding Patio Covers, although less common, are available as well.

  • Using our Lattice Structure, you can have a slatted roof similar to a pergola and you can also have some solid sections of roof and some slatted sections of roof.

  • A roof made of either structural insulated roof panels or roof
pans with various fascia & gutter options. Fan beams are available for either roof type, and skylight panels are available for structural insulated roof panels.

  • Easily converted to a screen room later with infill walls or sliding screen doors.

  • Like the looks of the old-time canvas roof instead of aluminum? You will not find canvas roofs anymore in Florida, instead the companies which build fabric awnings now build aluminum patio covers exactly like what we sell. They then put a fabric border around the roof to give it the look of canvas. You can build the patio cover yourself and then have the border added later for much less than if you had the awning company build the entire structure for you. Click here to see a photo of one we did - this will open in a pop-up window.

  • White or bronze colored materials for posts and beams. Both cost the same.

  • Because the Patio Cover is attached to your house, posts do not have to be buried and can simply be fastened to a proper footing - usually your concrete slab.

  • Durable and virtually maintenance free aluminum materials.

Remember, Patio Covers built from our material packages are easy to build even if you have no previous experience working with aluminum. And since we use the exact same materials professional contractors use, your result is a finished Patio Cover just like a contractor would build, but at a fraction of the price.
